Show #30: Sean Sharp, Instructional Technology Resource Teacher
Posted by Michael under: Main Podcast .
Today’s show features another Virginia based ITRT, Mr. Sean Sharp, from Floyd County. In this conversation, we address the challenges and opportunities of tech integration in a rural school district. Along the way, we expose some false notions of rural operations, and discuss some interesting ideas and directions for generative technologies and K-12 tech integration.
Sean also describes some assessment tools that seem to have tremendous potential for teaching & learning…

Loved this interview. Listening to Sean was like listening to myself. I’m living his life (except I’m much older) trying to help teachers use the tools to make learning related to life. It is always good to know there are others in the same boat. I have added Sean to my twitter and look forward to connecting.
You guys mentioned a Web 2.0 video tool that I had not heard of - where you can switch between webcams- please re-vist and give us more info.
Love the show.

Hi Cathy… Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you like the show and enjoyed our conversation with Sean. I believe you’re referring to Mogulus - http://www.mogulus.com/ - Steve and I have only dabbled with it, but it seems to have some very interesting potential. In fact, we’re hoping to broadcast an episode of GenTech via Mogulus… one of these days ;o)>>>
