Show #27: TPCK
Posted by Steve under: Main Podcast .
Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge, or TPCK, is a framework for considering “some of the essential qualities of knowledge required by teachers for technology integration in their teaching, while addressing the complex, multifaceted and situated nature of teacher knowledge” (from the TPCK Wiki).
In this episode of GenTech, the boys discuss the framework itself and how it may be used as a tool for both professional development and the appropriate, useful integration of technology into classroom teaching. The diagram below, which also comes from the Wiki, may be useful while listening to the conversation.
